Errors/Problems Fixed: [

- Duplicate LUN (HAL_DISK) entry with same key present in CCS database resulting database primary key constraint failure on rollup extraction tables and resulting into rollup failure.  (e2927492)

- Data rollup failed because of data out of range issues while rolling up percentage columns like percent_bytes_commited(filer_volume) and percent_claimed_unknown(host) values. (e2997711)

4. Preparing to install the hot fix
===================================
 Before you install this hot fix,   perform these steps:


 1. Log in to the Enterprise Reporter console.


 2. In the Enterprise Reporter console,   click:

      Data Management >> Data Rollup Configuration >> Status

      Verify that no data rollups are in progress. To install this hotfix,  all data rollup processes must be complete.


 3. Disable all data sources for data rollup. For each data source:

  a. Click:

    Data Management >> Data Sources


  b. Select the data source.

  c. Uncheck the Enabled checkbox.

  d. Click Save.

5 - Installing the hotfix
===========================


 1. Download below hotfix to a  temporary location on an Enterprise Reporter server.
    
    Windows: er-win32-5.2RU4HF520002927492win-patches.zip

    Solaris: er-sol_sparc-5.2RU4HF520002927492sol-patches.tar.gz


 2. After extracting the hotfix, the below three files will be available.

    - patches
    - patches\VRTSccer-F520002927492.tar.gz
    - README  (this file)


 3. Change current working directory to the <CCER_HOME>\hotfix directory.

    for eg: <CCER_HOME> is ER install directory


 4. Copy the VRTSccer-F520002927492.tar.gz to the <CCER_HOME>\hotfix directory


 5. Install the hot fix by entering the following command:

    Windows: installccerhf.bat VRTSccer-F520002927492.tar.gz

    Solaris: ./installccerhf.sh VRTSccer-F520002927492.tar.gz
 

 6. After you install the hot fix,   enable all data sources for data rollup.
 
   For each data source:
   a. Click:

      Data Management >> Data Sources

   b. Select the data source.

   c. Check the Enabled checkbox.

   d. Click Save.


 7. If the hot fix installation fails,   use the log files created

    during the attempted installation to diagnose the issue. The log

    files are as follows:


    Windows:

      ER install directory\data\maint\VRTSccer-F520002927492\yyyymmdd_time\output\stdout.txt

      ER install directory\data\maint\VRTSccer-F520002927492\yyyymmdd_time\output\stderr.txt


    Solaris:

      /var/VRTSccer/data/maint/VRTSccer-F520002927492/yyyymmdd_time/output/stdout.txt

 This hot fix includes following fixed features and enhancements:

* ETL Changes
  
  - Modified stored procedure wherein introduced .on existing clause. while inserting 
LUN (HAL_DISK) entries into extraction table. This helped to resolve intermittent rollup failures.
  
  - To resolve 'out of range for destination' errors, modified business logic while populating percentage measures for filer_volume and host fact tables.
