DETAILS OF INCIDENTS FIXED BY THE PATCH
---------------------------------------
This patch fixes the following Symantec incidents:

Patch ID: Hotfix_6_0_00003_ 3137984

* 3137984 (Tracking ID: 3137962)

SYMPTOM:
The modified non-versioned files are not updated while upgrading from
SFW HA 5.1 SP2 to SFW HA 6.0.

DESCRIPTION:
This issue occurs if you have installed SFW HA 5.1 SP2 on the
system and modified the non-versioned files (XML, .pl, .pm files). The files can
be modified explicitly by the user, or if any hotfixes or Agent Packs are
installed on SFW HA 5.1 SP2. If you now try to upgrade to SFW HA 6.0, these
files are not updated to the latest version by the product installer. The
installer considers the modified files as the latest files and does not
overwrite them.

RESOLUTION:
VCS_PreUpgrade.xml contains the list of files that are overwritten
by the installer during the upgrade. The VCS_PreUpgrade.xml has been modified to
include the non-versioned files. The installer deletes the previous versions of
the non-versioned files and installs the latest versions.

Binary Name / Binary Version:
VCS_PreUpgrade.xml / NA
