SYMPTOM:
On Oracle Solaris 11, after a package upgrade, the  LLT, GAB and VxFEN drivers may fail to add to thesystem.

DESCRIPTION:
You may experience driver addition issues while adding the LLT, GAB, VxFEN drivers due to following
reasons:
1. LLT, GAB, or VxFEN module is configured before the driver is added to the system.
2. Incorrect dependency among the SMF services that add the driver.

RESOLUTION:
Symantec has modified the VRTSllt, VRTSgab, and VRTSvxfen packages to ensure correctdependencies between SMF services to avoid driver addition issues.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
Run the Installer script to automatically install the patch:
-----------------------------------------------------------
If you have already installed 6.0.5 Maintenance Release, you do not need to apply this patch unless 
any of the LLT, GAB, VXFEN drivers have failed to add.

To install the patch perform the following steps on at least one node in the cluster:
1. Copy the patch sfha-sol11_x64-6.0.5.100-patches.tar.gz to /tmp
2. Untar sfha-sol11_x64-6.0.5.100-patches.tar.gz to /tmp/hf
    # mkdir /tmp/hf
    # cd /tmp/hf
    # gunzip /tmp/sfha-sol11_x64-6.0.5.100-patches.tar.gz
    # tar xf /tmp/sfha-sol11_x64-6.0.5.100-patches.tar
3. Install the hotfix
    # pwd 
    /tmp/hf
    # ./installSFHA605P1 [<host1> <host2>...]

You can also install this patch together with 6.0.1 GA release and 6.0.5 Maintenance Release
    # ./installSFHA605P1 -mr_path [<605 path>] -base_path [<601 path>] [<host1> <host2>...]
where the -mr_path should point to the 6.0.5 image directory, while -base_path to the 6.0.1 image.

If the systems are already at 6.0.1 GA or 6.0.3 Maintenance Release, you can install this patch together 
with 6.0.5 Maintenance Release
    # ./installSFHA605P1 -mr_path [<605 path>] [<host1> <host2>...]

Note: If you are installing to an Alternate Boot Environment, "-rootpath <alternate_root_path>" option 
can be used. For example,
    # ./installSFHA605P1 -mr_path [<605 path>] -rootpath [<alternate_root_path>] [<host1> <host2>...]
where -rootpath points to the Mount point where the Alternate Boot Environment is mounted.



REMOVING THE PATCH

Please follow the uninstallation steps from the install guide for 6.0.5.
