Displaying and configuring RLINK attributes
Use this feature to display and optionally change the current attributes of the RLINK. This task is not distributed, that is, it is executed on the current host only. Usually, you must perform the same changes on the other host in the RDS.
To display RLINK attributes and optionally change the current values

Choose Configure Replicated Data Set (RDS) > Change / Show Attributes of an RLINK.
The following screen displays:

Select the RLINK from the list.

The displayed values represent the current attributes of the selected RLINK. In this example, SRL Protection shows the default of autodcm
.
The following table describes each field and how to make changes to the field.
RLINK Name
|
Name of the RLINK.
|
Disk Group
|
Name of the disk group.
|
Packet Size
|
Number of bytes in a packet that are sent to the Secondary host. The minimum packet size is 8400 bytes.

Replication Mode
|
Displays asynchronous (synchronous = off) or soft synchronous (synchronous = override).
|
Latency Protection
|
Displays off, override, or fail depending on the chosen option.
|
SRL Protection
|
Displays autodcm, dcm, off, override, or fail depending on the chosen option.
|
Latency High Mark
|
Specifies the maximum number of waiting updates in the SRL before the protection becomes active and writes stall or fail.
|
Latency Low Mark
|
Number of updates in the SRL before the protection becomes inactive and writes succeed.
|
Remote Host/IP
|
Name or the IP address of the remote host.
|
Local Host/IP
|
Name or the IP address of the local host.

After making any necessary changes to the RLINK attributes, press enter to initiate the task.
The command status screen displays.

Press F3 until you return to the main menu.
