Use the RemoteGroup to monitor or manage remote service groups. Remote service groups are service groups in a remote cluster. Note that the state of the service group in the remote cluster is mapped to the state of the RemoteGroup resource in the local cluster. With the RemoteGroup agent, you establish dependencies between two service groups that are configured in two separate clusters.
For each remote service group that you want to monitor or manage, you must configure a corresponding RemoteGroup resource in the local cluster. You can include the RemoteGroup resource in any kind of resource or service group dependency tree.
If you are using the Global Cluster Option, make sure that the local service group or remote service group are not Global Service groups.
A combination of the state of the local service group and the state of the remote service group that determines the state of the RemoteGroup resource.
