Example of displaying information on mounted file systems

The following example shows the result of invoking the mount command without options.

 To display information on mounted file systems

• Invoke the mount command without options:

# mount

/dev/sda3 on / type ext3 (rw)

none on /proc type proc (rw)

none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
