If you want to add a new node to a multi-node cluster, first prepare the new system hardware. Physically connect the new system to the cluster using private networks and attach to any shared storage. Then install the required OS software.

To add a node to a cluster
mount -o ro /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
See Setting PATH and MANPATH environment variables.
-installonlyoption to install all the required SFCFS packages on the new node.

Note Do not reboot the machine now.
/etc/llttabfile the same as it looks on another node in the cluster.
link lan2 /dev/lan:2 - ether - -
link lan0 /dev/lan:0 - ether - -
/etc/llthostsfrom one other node of the cluster and add a new line to it with the name of this node.
llthostsfile to all nodes of the cluster.
/etc/gabtabfile the same as it is on another node in the cluster. See /etc/gabtab.
/sbin/gabconfig -c -n 3
There is no need to reboot the other nodes, just update the
/etc/gabtab file on the other nodes in the cluster.
/sbin/shutdown -r now
