Mounting a software disc
Veritas software is provided on a DVD format disc.
To mount the software disc

Log in as superuser.

Place the Veritas software disc into a DVD drive connected to your system.

After inserting the software disc, type the following command:
# mount -o ro /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom

Change to the appropriate Linux distribution directory and product subdirectory to view the product release notes and installation guides.
