Maintenance Pack 3 for Veritas Storage Foundation Cluster File System (SFCFS) 5.0 includes support for Oracle RAC.

SFCFS for Oracle RAC supports dynamic multi-pathing (DMP), Oracle Disk Manager (ODM) and Group Membership Services.

SFCFS for Oracle RAC does not support the integration of Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) with the Oracle Clusterware APIs.

In addition, although I/O Fencing may be enabled, it is not supported for use with SFCFS for Oracle RAC. If I/O Fencing is configured, the functionality is not available.

Oracle Cluster Registry (OCR) and Vote-disk are not supported on Cluster File System (CFS). Symantec recommends keeping OCR and Vote-disk on volumes created by the Cluster Volume Manager (CVM).

CRS_HOME is not supported on Cluster File System (CFS).
