Modifying a user

Users in the category Cluster Guest cannot modify users. You cannot modify a VCS user in clusters that run in secure mode.

To modify a user

1. Set the configuration to read/write mode:

   haconf -makerw

2. Modify the user:

   hauser -update user

3. Enter a new password when prompted.
4. Reset the configuration to read-only:

   haconf -dump -makero
