Offline 

Uses the vxvol command to stop the volume. 

Monitor 

Attempts to read a block from the raw device interface to the volume to determine if the volume is online, offline, or unknown. 

Clean 

Terminates all ongoing resource actions and takes the resource offline—forcibly when necessary.
