Unmounting Storage Checkpoints using dbed_ckptumount

You can use the dbed_ckptumountcommand to unmount a Storage Checkpoint from the command line.

Before unmounting Storage Checkpoints, the following conditions must be met:

Prerequisites	You must be logged on as the database administrator (typically, the user ID oracle.)
Usage notes	See the dbed_ckptumount(1M) manual page for more information.

To unmount Storage Checkpoints

Use the dbed_ckptumount command as follows:

$ /opt/VRTS/bin/dbed_ckptumount -S PROD \
-c Checkpoint_971672042_wr001
