VCS requirements for managing LPARs as virtual machines

To use VCS to manage LPARs as virtual machines, the following requirements must be met.

Supported OS version in LPARs

AIX 6.1 TL 5 and above.

AIX 7.1 and above.

Supported VIOS version

2.1.3.10-FP-23 and above

Supported HMC version

7.2.0.0

Note:

All the physical servers that are part of a cluster should be managed by the same HMC.
