Setting up DMPW in an existing cluster configuration

Use the following procedure.

To set up DMPW DSMs in an existing cluster configuration

  1. Move resources to another node or take the resources offline.
  2. Install additional hardware and its appropriate drivers.
  3. Connect only one path from the array to the computer.
  4. Install the appropriate DMPW DSMs using Add or Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel.

  5. Reconnect the additional physical path.
  6. Reboot the system.
  7. Verify that the additional path is displayed.
