Upgrading VCS Simulator

Use the following procedure to upgrade VCS Simulator.

To upgrade VCS Simulator on HP-UX

  1. Log in as superuser on the node where you intend to install the depot.

  2. Remove VCS Simulator from the previous installation.

  3. Install VCS Simulator.

To upgrade VCS Simulator on a Windows client

  1. Stop all instances of VCS Simulator.

  2. Stop VCS Simulator, if it is running.

  3. RemoveVCS Simulator from the system.

    • From the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs

    • Select VCS Simulator.

    • Click Add/Remove.

    • Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.

  4. Install the new Simulator.
