Veritas InfoScale supports RHEL-compatible distribution, Community Enterprise Operating System (CentOS) versions 6.8 and 7.3. The installation binaries are available as a tar.gz file on Veritas's electronic distribution website https://www.veritas.com/customer-center.html.

All capabilities available on RHEL are supported on CentOS. The commands used for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system in Veritas InfoScale documents also apply to supported RHEL-compatible distributions.

Veritas supports the Oracle RAC database on CentOS; however the support is not certified by Oracle.
