Partition/Node switch-over scenarios for DB2 V9.5, V9.7, V10.1, and V10.5 in MPP mode

To switch-over when the partitions are online on a system

  1. Serially move any partition from the source machine that is not associated with port 0 on the target.
  2. Move the remaining partitions one by one with partition associated with port 0 on source being last.
