After a mirror is removed, the space formerly allocated to it reverts to free space.

To remove a mirror
- Right-click on the volume from which you want to remove the mirror.
- Select
The Remove Mirror dialog box appears as shown below:
The name of the volume with the mirror appears in the upper left.
- The available mirrors appear in the left pane. Use the or button to move the desired mirrors to the list of mirrors selected to be removed in the right pane. To move mirrors from the list to the list, select them in the right pane and click the button. To move all of the mirrors from the list back to the list, click the button.
- Select the mirror to remove.
Click to remove the mirror or mirrors.
- Click at the message warning you that removing mirrors reduce the redundancy of the volume.
