Two methods for creating a mirror
You can create a mirror on an existing volume or create a new mirrored volume.

To create a mirror on an existing volume, use the Add Mirror command.

To create a new mirrored volume, use the New Volume wizard. You select a mirrored layout when you create the volume.

The mirroring process is disabled if the volume cannot be mirrored or if there is no unallocated space on another dynamic disk large enough to mirror the volume. A RAID-5 volume cannot be mirrored. |
