dbed_ckptumount - unmount a Storage Checkpoint for an Oracle database
dbed_ckptumount -S ORACLE_SID -c CKPT_NAME
[ -m MOUNT_POINT ] [ -h ]
Veritas Storage Foundation. To determine whether this product is installed on the system, enter:
rpm -qa | grep VRTSdbed
The dbed_ckptumount command is used to unmount a Storage Checkpoint from the file system namespace. When mounted Storage Checkpoints are no longer required, they can be unmounted.
The following options are supported:
-S ORACLE_SID Specifies the name of the Oracle database whose Storage Checkpoint will be unmounted. -c CKPT_NAME Specifies the name of the Storage Checkpoint to be unmounted. This Storage Checkpoint should have been mounted using the dbed_ckptmount command. -m MOUNT_POINT Unmounts the Storage Checkpoint from the named directory. This is an optional argument. It is only needed when the mount point information is missing from SFDB repository. -h Shows command usage.
