With InfoScale 7.1 onwards, Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) adds support for EMC VPLEX array-based Metro or Geo synchronous configurations. DMP now automatically differentiates the local and the remote paths of a Logical Unit (LUN) in such configurations. The remote paths of a LUN are automatically marked as standby and is only used if the local path is not available.
