Managing DMP devices for the ZFS root pool

When the ZFS root pool is under DMP control, you can use the DMP devices to create mirrors, snapshots, or clones of the root disks. You can also use raw DMP devices to create swap devices and dump devices. The following sections explain the common ZFS root pool operations with DMP.
