Agentless discovery is the ability to discover hosts without installing an agent on the host. With agentless discovery, Veritas Operations Manager remotely accesses the host and runs the discovery scripts that collect data from a host.

Agentless discovery requires that your Veritas Operations Manager Management Server, Control Host, and Storage Insight Add-on are running Veritas Operations Manager 4.0RU1.
