Create New Solution panel options
Use this wizard panel to create a customized solution that you want to deploy on either the managed hosts, or Management Server, or both. You can create a solution that you can deploy on a specific platform. Also, you can create a customized solution that you can deploy on all supported platforms.

Enter a name for the customized solution that you create. |

Enter a version for the customized solution that you create. |

Description

Enter any additional information on the customized solution that you create. |

MH Component
|
Select this check box if you want to deploy the solution on managed hosts. |

CS Component
|
Select this check box if you want to deploy the solution on Management Server. |
|
MH/CS Versions
|
Enter the version of either the managed hosts, Management Server, or both, on which you want to deploy the solution.
You can enter multiple versions. Use comma (,) to separate the versions.

Upload platform specific files:
|
|
Type
|
Select the platform on which you want to deploy the customized solution that you create.
You can select from the following options:
Linux SunOS Windows AIX HP-UX
|

Cross Platform
|
Select this check box if you want to deploy the solution across platforms.
If you select this check box, you cannot select a specific platform in the Type field.

Setup Script
|
Browse to select the setup script for the solution that you create.
You can click to upload the setup script as setup.pl to Veritas Operations Manager.
Click the help icon to view the sample setup script.

UnSetup Script
|
Browse to select the unsetup script for the solution that you create.
You can click to upload the unsetup script as unsetup.pl to Veritas Operations Manager.
Click the help icon to view the sample unsetup script.

Additional Files
|
Browse to select any additional files for the solution that you create.
You can click to upload the additional files to Veritas Operations Manager.

After you add the setup script, unsetup script, and any additional files for the customized solution to Veritas Operations Manager, you can view the details of these files in a table.

|
Type of the file that you have added to Veritas Operations Manager.
The file type of the setup script is displayed as Setup.
The file type of the unsetup script is displayed as UnSetup.
The file type of the additional files is displayed as Additional.

Platform
|
Platform of the host on which you want to deploy the distribution. |
|
Remove icon
|
Click the remove icon to remove the files from Veritas Operations Manager. |
