Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager discovers the zones that are created on Solaris 10 or 11 host that it manages. The Zone Agentlet that is installed along with the VRTSsfmh package on a Solaris 10 or 11 host lets Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager Management Server discover the Global Zones and the non-Global Zones on the host.
Through the discovery of Solaris zones, Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager discovers the following information:
The non-Global Zones that are associated with a Global Zone.
The storage that is exported from the Global Zone to non-Global Zones.
Databases that run in non-Global Zones of a Solaris 10 host.
