Also, if the name of a queue manager contains the character ".", the Symantec High Availability Configuration Wizard does not correctly configure the queue manager instance. DESCRIPTION: The discovery module within the wizard does not support special characters such as "/" and ".". The wizard therefore either fails to discover the queue manager instance, or the configuration reflects an incorrect value of a queue manager name. RESOLUTION: Symantec has modified the wizard to recognize special characters in queue manager names, and discover shared storage used by the queue managers. * INCIDENT NO:3038841 TRACKING ID:3028989 SYMPTOM: If a WebSphere MQ 7.0.1 installation involves a customized log path or data path, the Symantec High Availability Configuration Wizard fails to correctly configure storage resources. DESCRIPTION: WebSphere MQ 7.0.1 lets users define customized log paths and data paths. However, the discovery module of the Symantec High Availability Configuration Wizard does not support such paths. RESOLUTION: Symantec has modified the wizard to detect customized log paths and data paths. Further, Symantec has removed the configuration of storage resources for the WebSphereMQ installation path from the wizard. Therefore, note that, if the WebSphereMQ installation uses shared storage, you must manually configure such shared storage for monitoring by using VCS commands or VOM GUI.
