Refer to Dynamic Multi-Pathing". 3851405 (3846363) When upgrading SFHA environments to SFHA 6.0.5 or higher, the CVMTypes.cf is NOT updated with the VCS ClearClone attribute. Customers are unable to specify the ClearClone attribute in main.cf to update the on-disk UDID content for DMP detected hardware replicated devices. SUMMARY OF KNOWN ISSUES: ----------------------------------------- NONE KNOWN ISSUES : -------------- NONE FIXED INCIDENTS: ---------------- PATCH ID:7.0.1.0 * INCIDENT NO:3781993 TRACKING ID:3852238 SYMPTOM: The installer fails to stop AMF process because the AMF module cannot be unloaded. DESCRIPTION: During package/patch upgrade, AMF SMF service is enabled but fails to be disabled. This causes CPI to be unable to stop AMF because AMF module is in use. RESOLUTION: During upgrade, the installer will use a workaround to disable AMF SMF service with command: svcadm disable -s system/amf By using this command, AMF SMF service keeps in disabled state during package upgrade. * INCIDENT NO:3806206 TRACKING ID:3806690 SYMPTOM: After upgrade from 6.X to 7.0, Notify sink and application resource go into OFFLINE| UNKNOWN state if it is configured using the wizards. DESCRIPTION: The 7.0 paths of some binaries have changed. "/opt/VRTSvcs/portal/admin/notify_sink" is changed to "/opt/VRTSvcs/portal/vcs_wizards/admin/notify_sink". "/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/Application/getServiceStatus" is changed to "/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/Application/getServiceStatus.wiz". Due to this, if any resource uses any of these paths, they would report UNKNOWN state. RESOLUTION: The installer performs the following path changes during upgrade procedure in VCS configuration file: (1) Change the binary path from "/opt/VRTSvcs/portal/admin/notify_sink" to "/opt/VRTSvcs/portal/vcs_wizards/admin/notify_sink". (2) Change the binary path from "/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/Application/getServiceStatus" to "/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/Application/getServiceStatus.wiz". * INCIDENT NO:3845044 TRACKING ID:3800404 SYMPTOM: After using the Common Product Installer to upgrade, the previous agent user configurations are not migrated. DESCRIPTION: While upgrading to 6.1, the installer does not migrate user configurations such as Netlsnr ToleranceLimit and OnlineRestartlimit. This is because the installer fails to recognize user's existing agent configurations during dynamic upgrade. RESOLUTION: The dynamic upgrade function is changed to differentiate user's existing agent configurations before upgrade, so that all user configurations can be kept after upgrade. * INCIDENT NO:3846386 TRACKING ID:3801924 SYMPTOM: On Solaris 11, on MPXIO-enabled boot-devices such as T3, T4, T5, when you upgrade SF, SFHA, SFCFSHA or SF Oracle RAC from 6.2 to 6.2.1, the following error message will be displayed: "Failed to turn on dmp_native_support tunable on xxx. Refer to Dynamic Multi-Pathing". DESCRIPTION: When DMP and MPxIP coexist, the command 'vxdmpadm settune dmp_native_support=off' will fail. RESOLUTION: The code is modified to not turn off the tunable dmp_native_support before the patch upgrade, and not turn on dmp_native_support after the upgrade. During the upgrade, the product doesnt stop VxVM or VxFS processes. After the upgrade, you need to reboot to reload the VxVM or the VxFS module. * INCIDENT NO:3851405 TRACKING ID:3846363 SYMPTOM: When upgrading SFHA environments to SFHA 6.0.5 or higher, the CVMTypes.cf is NOT updated with the VCS ClearClone attribute. Customers are unable to specify the ClearClone attribute in main.cf to update the on-disk UDID content for DMP detected hardware replicated devices. DESCRIPTION: The ClearClone attribute was introduced from 6.0.5 onwards. The installer doesn't update CVMTypes.cf with the VCS ClearClone attribute. RESOLUTION: The code is modified to add the VCS ClearClone attribute to CVMTypes.cf. INCIDENTS FROM OLD PATCHES: --------------------------- NONE
