| Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager Fabric Add-on is used to discover the SAN fabric infrastructure. | |
| The Fabric Add-on is available only with Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager 6.0 and later releases. |

Install Fabric add-on on a managed host which you want to use for discovering your SAN switches and fabric.
For discovering medium to large SAN infrastructure, it is recommended that you install the Fabric add-on on a managed host that is not the Management Server. |
