SYMPTOM:
This package contains the VCS Management Pack required for monitoring VCS components in a SCOM environment.

DESCRIPTION:
This package contains the Symantec Cluster Server Management Pack required for monitoring VCS components in a System Center Operations Manager 2012 monitoring environment. 
			
Known Issues
Etrack Incident No 3587191
When the resource is in Unknown state, the resource is shown either as Healthy or Critical state in the Operations Manager console.

Etrack Incident No 3566996
In case of Parallel or Hybrid service group, when service group is online on multiple nodes, it is shown as Healthy on Owner node, and shown as Warning on remaining nodes.

                - Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2
				
RESOLUTION:
Import the Management Pack. Refer to the "Symantec Cluster Server Management Pack Guide for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012" for instructions.

Note: This hotfix supersedes SCOM_6_1_00006_3542198, which was released earlier.

Before you proceed, ensure that following prerequisites are completed:

- Verify that Operations Manager 2012 infrastructure is set up and configured correctly.

- Download and import the VCS Library Management Pack on the management server.

- Download and import the Symantec Cluster Communication Management Pack on the management server.
