CRS INSTALLATION

When ORACLE CRS installer prompts you to run root.sh script, before you run this script, you need to add the init.cssd-10gR1.patch on all the cluster nodes.

a. Open another window on all the systems.

b. Log in as root user.

c. Change to the directory where the patch is to be copied:

# cd /crs_home/css/admin

# cp /opt/VRTSvcs/rac/patch/init.cssd-10gR1.patch .

d. Run the following command to install the patch:

# patch < init.cssd-10gR1.patch init.cssd

ORACLE CRS Installer will be invoked. Please wait for sometime
