The version of Veritas Volume Manager that was bundled with HP-UX will be replaced with Veritas Volume Manager 5.0 if the bundled version is older. If you ever want to go back to the bundled version of Veritas Volume Manager, then you will have to remove Veritas Volume Manager 5.0 and re-install the bundled version using the HP-UX OS media.
