Refer to the Oracle Real Application Clusters Installation and Configuration Guide for instructions on how to install the Oracle 10g database. Create the Oracle database on shared storage. Use you own tools or review the guidelines on using the Oracle dbca (Database Creation Assistant) tool. to create a database on shared raw VxVM volumes or shared VxFS file systems.

If you currently have Oracle databases running and want to migrate them to the latest Oracle patch level, refer to the README.html file downloaded with the patch. The file is located in the /oracle/patch directory.
