Stopping the gsd processes

As oracle user, stop the gsd processes running on all nodes in the SF Oracle RAC cluster.

 To stop the gsd processes

1. Determine if the gsd processes are running.

   $ $ORACLE_HOME/bin/gsdctl stat

2. If the processes are running, stop the processes.

   $ $ORACLE_HOME/bin/gsdctl stop

3. Perform the tasks on each node in the cluster.
