Preparing to install SF 5.0 for Oracle RAC

Perform the following tasks before proceeding to install SF 5.0 for Oracle RAC:

• Obtaining SF Oracle RAC license keys
• Synchronizing time settings on cluster nodes
• Setting up inter-system communication
• Setting up shared storage
• Setting the PATH variable
• Setting the MANPATH variable
• Mounting the product disc
• Verifying the systems before installation
