Setting up Storage Foundation in a global cluster environment to prepare for replication requires preparing two sites:

  Obtaining and installing license keys.

  Creating two clusters on two sites, setting up the hardware.

  Installing Storage Foundation.

  Installing Oracle software.

  Configuring VCS service groups for the secondary site.
