Supported software

Supported software includes:

• Operating system and patches
• Veritas software
• Oracle software

Operating system and patches

Within a cluster, all nodes must use the same operating system version and patch level. Run SF Oracle RAC on the following operating system at the required patch levels.

• Solaris 10

Veritas software

Only versions of VCS, VxVM, and VxFS provided on the software disc are supported. Remove other versions before you install the software from the Veritas Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC software disc.

Oracle software

SF Oracle RAC supports the following Oracle software:

• Oracle 10g Release 1
• Oracle 10g Release 2
