About third-party driver coexistence

The third-party driver (TPD) coexistence feature of Storage Foundation Cluster File System High Availability (SFCFSHA) allows I/O that is controlled by some third-party multi-pathing drivers to bypass Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) while retaining the monitoring capabilities of DMP. If a suitable Array Support Library (ASL) is available and installed, devices that use TPDs can be discovered without requiring you to set up a specification file, or to run a special command. The TPD coexistence feature of SFCFSHA permits coexistence without requiring any change in a third-party multi-pathing driver.
