Performance tunables are provided to optimize the time that is taken for the storage migration operation. Using them, you can enhance the storage migration performance, in migrating data from source disks to target disks. These performance tunables give you the flexibility to trade between storage migration performance and application performance.

Usage of performance tunables is limited to storage migration operation only.
