Growing the volumes

Use the vxassist growby command to grow the size of the specified data volume or Replicator Log volume. Note that if you grow the size of the data volume using this command it is not applicable across the RDS but specific to the RVG only. Use the length parameter to specify the size you want to grow the volume by. This command does not require you to stop replication before growing the volumes, however, if replication is active, pause replication to all the Secondaries before growing the Primary and Secondary volumes. When you grow the size of the data volumes using the vxassist growby command, Veritas recommends that you do it for the selected volume on each host in the RDS. Not doing this can cause the replication to pause with a configuration error due to mismatch in volume sizes.
