Viewing the fire drill run results for a specific service group

After you run a high availability (HA) or disaster recovery (DR) fire drill for Oracle_SG, you can view its result and other details on the Veritas Operations Manager console.

To view the fire drill results for Oracle_SG

  1. In the Veritas Operations Manager console, do one of the following to locate the service groups:

    • To locateOracle_SG from its cluster, select Manage > Clusters and click the required cluster of Oracle_SG to view its details. Click Service Groups.

    • To locate Oracle_SG in the list of all service groups, select Manage > Service Groups.

  2. Click the Oracle_SG to view its details.

  3. In the details page of Oracle_SG, click Fire Drills.

  4. In the Details column, click the icon to view the following details of the fire drill.

    • The name of the service group for which you have run the fire drill.

    • The user who performed the fire drill

    • The date and time when the fire drill started

    • The date and time when the fire drill was finished

    • The state of the fire drill. Indicates whether the fire drill is completed or not

    • The system for whose service groups the fire drill was failed or skipped

    • The reason for the failure or skipping of the fire drill task along with the Veritas Cluster Server commands that are executed as part of the fire drill task.

    • The result of the executed command that indicates whether the fire drill is failed or skipped

    • The status of the fire drill when it was exited

  5. Click Close to exit.
