Checking cluster_database flag in Oracle9i parameter file

On each node, confirm that the cluster_database flag is set in the Oracle9i parameter file. For example, if you use PFILE, verify the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init$ORACLE_SID.ora file. This flag enables the Oracle instances to run in parallel.

 To check cluster_database flag

• Verify that the Oracle9i parameter file contains the line:

  cluster_database = true
