Setting permissions for database administration
After installing SF Oracle RAC, the default settings allows only the superuser to access the /opt/VRTSdbed folder. If you want the database administrators (DBAs) to access SF Oracle RAC components, then you must set the required permissions. You can skip setting the database administration permission and advance to configuring the cluster volume manager.
