Migrating from Oracle9i R2 to Oracle 10g

The migration procedure assumes that the beginning configuration includes the following are up and running on the cluster nodes:

• Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC 5.0
• Oracle 9iR2

Tasks for Migration:

• Completing pre-upgrade Tasks
• Installing Oracle 10g
• Migrating an existing Oracle 9iR2 database to Oracle 10gR2
• Unfreezing the VCS service groups
