A data collector gathers information about systems in your network. It uses this information to generate the custom reports which contain a list of passed and failed checks and their corresponding details. Those reports point out common issues, identify installation and upgrade requirements, assess risks, track product licenses, and gather data for support troubleshooting. The reports also provide you with server-specific recommendations for the findings.

SORT Lite Inventory Collector can scan the systems you specify and gather InfoScale licensing for them. The report lists the basic information of the scanned systems and counts Veritas InfoScale products used in your environment. You can run it on Windows as a driver node, and it can scan Windows/Linux/UNIX as target nodes. If you run it on Linux/UNIX as a driver node, the target nodes should be Linux/UNIX only. More information, please see README.
