Veritas InfoScale/Storage Foundation hardware compatibility lists (HCLs) enable you to view support information by various parameters, including the vendors, device family, devices, modes, interfaces, product releases, platforms, and advanced features.
HCL Central provides support information for the product releases. Click here to see the listed information. Unless otherwise noted, a minor release has the same hardware compatibility as its associated major release. For this reason, HCL Central only shows the hardware compatibility for major releases.
An HCL represents the limits of Veritas support for disk storage arrays qualified for use with the Veritas InfoScale/Storage Foundation products in the disk array compatibility list. There are no implied additions or exceptions to the tested or compatible devices on the provided lists.
To use the Veritas InfoScale/Storage Foundation for Windows HCL, see the notes.
Replicator option (formerly Volume Replicator) has no hardware dependencies. It is only supported when it is used as part of InfoScale/Storage Foundation.
The HCL also contains information for Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP). See the details for DMP operating system native stack support and DMP for Windows with Multipath I/O (MPIO) Device Specific Modules (DSMs) support.
For more details about the product-specific hardware support, see Documents page.
The Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP) operating system native stack support feature is supported in Storage Foundation and High Availability (SFHA) release 6.0, 6.1, and in SFHA 5.1 through an add-on patch.
DMP OS native stack support lets non-root OS native volume groups or file systems operate over DMP devices.
This feature is available for these products and platforms:
